1951
Meyer Manufacturing Company Ltd. was set up in 1951 under the sole ownership of the Cheng family.
Initially, its core business centred on the manufacturing and marketing of flash lights, hinges, ash trays, camping lanterns and tennis rackets.
1971
In 1971, Stanley Cheng, son of the founder and today’s President and Chief Executive, recognised the potential of the cookware business and started the production of aluminum non-stick pans.
1972
The first line of cookware produced by Meyer was sold in London. Marketing distribution centres established in Liverpool, England.
1986
Meyer Group launches the Circulon brand.
1989
Meyer Group launches the Anolon brand.
1997
Meyer Group acquires the Prestige brand.
2002
Meyer Group moves into a purpose built headquarters.
2011
Meyer Group acquires the Ruffoni brand and JWP limited.
2017
Meyer Group launches the Hestan brand.
2022
Meyer Group launches the Circulon brand into Germany.
